This is a Photo of the first Race Engine built by Albert Broadfoot

2.5 liter Twin Plug 914-6 GT Engine

I built this engine in 1988. Service Manager Sigmund Myrlin (My Boss) and Owner of Brumos Porsche Bob Snodgrass were nice enough to pick me out of all of the Porsche Technicians to build this engine.

It was installed in the 1970 Porsche 914-6 GT Race Car of the late Peter Gregg which was completely restored by Jim Bailey at the Brumos Race Shop. At that time the Race Shop was located on Main Street.

After it's completion the car went on to win many G5 class HSR races.

The car now resides at the Brumos Museum.
