Albert Broadfoot's Race History
1991 - 7th in Nation WKA (World Karting Association) 100cc International class in Kali Kart with Parilla TT36 rotory valve engine.
1996 - 23rd overall (IMSA) Rolex24 Hours of Daytona in 1995 993 RSR (Engine Builder, Car Preparation, and Crew Chief) for Freemanshaft Racing.
1996 - 13th overall (IMSA) 12 Hours of Sebring in 1995 993 RSR (Engine Builder, Car Preparation, and Crew Chief) for Freemanshaft Racing.
1997 - 18th overall (Professional Sportscar Racing) Rolex24 Hours of Daytona in 1995 993 RSR (Engine Builder, Car Preparation, and Crew Chef) for Freemanshaft Racing.
1997 - DNF at 7 hours due to Momo SP333 crashing into car, 12 Hours of Sebring in 1995 993 RSR (Engine Builder, Car Preparation, and Crew Chief) for Freemanshaft Racing.
Note: Albert Broadfoot totally rebuilt the stock 3.6 993 street car engine to 3.8 993 RSR specifications when the Freemanshaft car arrived at the shop. The engine was built only one time, and used in all off these races. The engine had over 100 hours of practice time, qualifying time, and full race time without any mechanical failures and not one oil leak! This is a "Race Proven" testament to the durability and quality of engines built by Albert Broadfoot.
1998 - 10th in GTO class (Professional Sportcar Racing) Rolex24 Hours of Daytona in a 2.5L 944 GTR Turbo
1999 - 13th in GT2 class (USRRC) Rolex24 Hours of Daytona in a 2.5L 944 GTR Turbo
2000- Entered two 3.0L 944 GTR Turbos in GTO class (Grand Am). Our fast time was 2:06. Not good enough for the to qualify against the super fast Factory Corvettes and Vipers.
2000- Ran complete Grand Am season with partner Wayne Press (Broadfoot / Press Racing) using two 3.0L 944 Turbos, we finish 2nd in overall GTO class Grand American Road Racing Championship points. The engines in both cars were built only one time in both cars by Albert Broadfoot at the start of the season, and with no engine failures whatsoever. This is another testament to the durability and quality of engines built by Albert Broadfoot!
We were the first ever to finish this well in any form of "Pro Racing" in a Porsche 944 Turbo! We also were the last to race 944 Turbos in any form of "Pro Racing" as they are now to old and not eligible to enter any "Pro Racing" series.
Despite negative rumors you may hear on the net, from other shops trying to boost themselves by putting others down, and a hand-full or less of customers (out of Hundreds of Happy and Loyal customers) who have tuned or modified their engines after purchasing them from Albert Broadfoot, and then damaging their engines, Albert Broadfoot is a talented and honest Porsche Technician who stands behind his work. The fact of the matter remains, that Albert Broadfoot with 26 years of Porsche Repair and Racing experience and 9 years of PORSCHE Factory authorized Training is more capable than most to repair or rebuild your Porsche engine!
2001 - Entered and qualified with a 1:57 our Factory Porsche 996 GT3R in the (Grand - Am) Rolex24 Hours of Daytona. Car ran 11 hours before splitting a cylinder and retiring the car from the race. This was a "Porsche Factory" built engine. Yes - "That's Racing". Not going to bad mouth Porsche.
2001 - Entered, qualified and raced the (ALMS) 12 Hours of Sebring with our Factory Porsche 996 GT3R. CV joint broke after 3 hours of race time (New Axles and CV joints) as with many teams with this same problem. Yes - "that's Racing". Not going to bad mouth Porsche.
2001 - Entered, qualified, and finished 5th in the (Grand Am) Trio Reveres (Three Rivers) Canada race with our Factory Porsche 996 GT3R.
2001 - Entered, qualified, and finished 6th in the (Grand Am) Watkins Glen race with our Factory Porsche 996 GT3R.

1998 finished 6th in SCCA ITS class in our 2.5L 944R.
1999 - Qualified outside pole and finished 1st in SPO class with our 951 with 3.0L 16V engine. Engine built by Albert Broadfoot with no engine problems what so ever, but 2 factory built transmissions broke during the race putting us many laps down.

Worked our way through traffic in a hurry up to 8th overall out of 70 cars, 2nd driver was bouncing on rev limiter constantly and bent valves, and retiring car. "That's racing" ?

The group of photos below are photos of the first race car Albert Broadfoot built from the ground up. Our old company name was Technical Dimensions. This company was owned by Albert & Kelli Broadfoot between 1993 - 2000. We at that time specialized in the repair of Porsche and Audi automobiles. The company was sold in 2000 when we went full-time Pro Racing. As far as I know Technical Dimensions is now a used car lot here in Jacksonville selling various types of cars.
The Freemanshaft Racing race car shown below was built by Albert Broadfoot from a bone stock 1995 993. Albert was the first in Jacksonville to do a 3.6 to 3.8 liter conversion to a 993. Also built and installed on the car were air jacks, rear wing, GT2 bodywork, gutted interior, custom exhaust, etc.
Note: Albert Broadfoot totally rebuilt the stock 3.6 993 street car engine to 3.8 993 RSR specifications when the Freemanshaft car arrived at the shop. The engine was built only one time, and used in several 12 and 24 hour races. The engine had over 100 hours of practice time, qualifying time, and full race time without any mechanical failures and not one oil leak! This is a "Race Proven" testament to the durability and quality of engines built by Albert Broadfoot.
A few of the photos show the car destroyed after a racing incident with the Momo Ferrari SP333. We have video of the car flying 15 feet in the air. There were no usable parts on the car after the crash.
