Warranty Information
Stock Street Cars
All unmodified (stock) street cars will have a 12 month or 12,000 mile (whichever comes first) warranty on all parts and a 4 month or 4,000 mile warranty on all labor.
Cars with broken odometers will have a 2 month warranty on all repairs.
Performance Street Cars
Street Cars which have had any modifications to the engine to increase power will have a 3 month or 3,000 mile (whichever comes first) warranty on any engine related repairs, or new performance engine builds. All other repairs will have a 12 month or 12,000 mile (whichever comes first) warranty.
Cars with broken odometers will have a 2 month warranty on all repairs.
Race Cars
Race Cars and any Track related cars have no warranty on any repairs (including parts and labor). This is due to the extreme conditions they are run in. Obviously if we build an engine or make a repair to you race car or track car, and you have a problem within the first hour of use, we will stand behind our work.
Warranty - Transportation of Vehicle
If a Street Car, Performance Street Car, or Race Car that we built or repaired needs any warranty work performed, the cost of towing the car to our shop (if needed) is the responsibility of the car owner.
Any warranty work that needs to be done must be done by Autosport of Florida. We will not pay another shop to do our warranty repair work!
Note: customer neglect will not be covered with any car.
The owner of a vehicle has the responsibility to:
Check oil level
Change oil every 3,000 miles or every 6 hours of track time
Watch coolant temperature and never overheat your engine
Watch oil pressure and make sure it never drops below 4.0 BAR or 60 PSI over 4,000 RPM (1 to 2 BAR oil pressure at idle with an engine at operating temperature is normal).
Not over-rev their engine
Not over-boost a turbocharged engine
